This is a piece I've been wanting to do ever since the new deus ex got released, I've played through it twice and I can say that it is.....phenomenal. Truly a great game in its right.I've been practicing slightly with anatomy since my 'lady of the goldfish' piece which had some criticism regarding anatomy, so I hope this painting has shown my somewhat improvement.
This painting is based on the bit where Jensen, Deus ex:HR main character sat on his chair in his apartment, recuperating after being augmented and this painting has a lot of references to that bit. For example, the obvious augmentation that the girl has received, her smoking, the glass, the gold and black color palette, and the bandages. Started out topless but I decided to censor myself a little with the bandages. This took around a dozen hours, mostly because I was watching an anime at the same time.
This is strictly fanart, I do not own Deus Ex in any way. Comments, critiques, criticisms, suggestions are welcome

Well, her name would have to be Adina Jensen or Ada Jensen in order to get the whole "JC Denton phonetically reversed" thing right. Or it could be Nadine Ceejay, if you reverse it.

I have a Wacom! But I use GIMP...I'm trying to convince myself to switch over to SAI, though, because I could never afford photoshop.
And I am immune to Lelouch's Geass because he already used it to order me to go to another link.

haha, which wacom ur using? SAI is not bad, been using SAI the first year of painting, went to photoshop cos it had everything. SAI is very good for linework IMO

I use the Bamboo Connect--my first and only tablet, it was a gift. My one objection with GIMP is that the lines it draws are really blurry, which drives me up the wall. That, and I needed to revert to an older version because the newest one keeps crashing every few minutes or so...you get what you pay for with open-source, I guess.
I have resorted to writing an argumentative essay in the hope of convincing myself to get SAI. Aren't I pathetic? And what is 'everything' when it comes to photoshop?

soo sorry it took so long i havent been on my comturer for so long 
well this is just to well made 
i sart ith the background becouse its just so awesome, and i just have one thing i want to ask: it comes light from the window things right ? and the yellow strip of ligt gives so much efect to the drawing, but shouldnt the strip stop after the land window, becoue it is no light source in the dark part of the room.
for her the anotemy is really good, for the metal the anotemy looks so right, but it could have been some more shine in it if you ask me.
the shadow under her head is the only big shadow on her, and thats kinda weird that the have one big shadow and so the rest is small and blury. you should thing abouth where you want the light source to be and how close and strng it is before you start to color.
for her stomach it looks some big, i see that she dont suports her back at the sofa, but still the stomach looks some big, and the lower part dosnt seem like its conected with the upper, becouse it goes like a line where you start to color different and it looks alittle like ts something that lies over the lower stomach area . for the upper part it is some weird that she have a so nice line down her stomach (looks really good and sporty

First of all, thnx a lot for the effort in typing this super duper long comment and thank you for pointing out all of the defects and problems my painting has, truly great and keen observation Really appreciated but can I make a criticism, I think when you type you should at least make it so that the spellings are at least right. English is not my first language so I might not quite understand what you are trying tell me. Just my 2 cents

Mm, I was a little dissapointed that you couldn't choose the gender of the protagonist, but I suppose by setting in stone Adam's nature and personality, it did allow for greater characterisation...

Well she does have quite a belly. It looks bit weird to be honest, but other than that it's pretty nice. The augmentations remind me of Yelena.
