Description L'ARC-EN-CIEL is my 3D demo done during my final year at the Cégep du Vieux Montréal. Sadly, due to a strike we had one month less to work on our film so it's not as polished as I would have liked.

It is the story of 2 friends going on a small journey to reach a rainbow.

I want to thank everyone for the support and the energy that you gave me. I was actually surprised by the amount of people that really enjoyed my film and the various praises and comments I received from teachers, students, parents, company and everyone else

I really enjoyed working on this movie and I hope you will enjoy watching it!

thank you :3 I wanted the rainbow to reflect the ambiance of the made-up world. I remember liking them a lot when I was a kid.

Truly adorable, the aesthetics of this really stands out from a mere stylization to an actual atmosphere of its own. I can only imagine a series made in this direction of rendering, it would be really enjoyable.

Thank you very much :3 It was very fun to experiment with the different looks and I really loved working on the esthetics of this small movie.
I love non-realistic render stylized looks~

I second you, 3D has a lot of potential of its own, purely copying 2D or reality makes it more a tool than a media. Things like [link] are really awesome.

Thank you and it's fine, I'm impressed that you can speak even a little a bit of french, it's pretty rare since people usually try learning English, German or Spanish as second or third language.
