This is one of those times I feel like I really got to connect with a homework piece. Which feels weird to say. The class it's for is super process-driven; it's sort of all about coming up with ideas in a very strange and roundabout way that makes you look at things a little differently. Specifically, I've been having to draw in an antique falling-apart book for about two weeks, using random snatches of words on the pages to prompt sketches and concepts around a topic given in class. For the first assignment, it was "afterlife."made with-

I love the atmosphere and the colors in this piece. The assignment sounds like a fun challenge. It's always good to actually like your homework.
The luminescent flowers are just lovely, and so are the ripples in the water. What I like most about this is that although the girl looks very sad, there's this pervading sense of hope. It's wonderful.
