Description Second version of Standing Wave, where I explore the density limit of this effect. 12" x 12" x 1"

This is intended to be viewed with crossed eyes for a full 3D effect.

Some find it helpful to first focus on an object (such as a pencil) held in front of the monitor to cause the two views to overlap.

Utterly amazing. Shocking, electrifying... Sorry, had to. But really, really cool, all of these are. Love this 3D visualization. I'm an electronic elgineer, so I am always visualizing things in my head - this is a whole new way for me, though!

Thanks very much! I have an EE degree too so I think I understand where you're coming from.

You could try photographing the object in stereo 3d with a larger than normal "eye width". That may improve what little natural 3d effect there is, especially if photographed at an angle.

Stunning work.

Did you create the concentric 3D ripple effect or is it actually like that?

The 3D ripples were an experiment that worked very well. Usually the figures are in a fairly narrow plane.
