Looks like something designed for planetary defense, as it's stealth-faceting would help with avoiding detection.
Then again Radar works in space like it does in atmo, so it looks like it fits here too.

I like the modernization of the X wing design but the laser cannons are bothering me for two main reasons.
1 - the placement (sure it is true to lore but the placement makes for some difficult convergence arcs.
2 - I know it says laser cannons but the lore of the weapon makes it a blaster variant and a long barrel on a blaster weapon improves the range.Β The laser cannons look like they are short range weapons.
