Distrust of Inorganic Technology: Even after nearly millennia of exposure to inorganic technology following the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion of the galaxy, the Yuuzhan Vong at large distrust much of it. While no longer active seeking to destroy droids, items, and other inorganic items, many of their species still refuse to use it in their daily lives, instead turning to their own organic technology or available alternatives.

She embodies the ideals of the Redeemed Path of her species, seeing the Yuuzhan Vong's acceptance back into the Force as not only a gift, but as a responsibility. She believes the Force is a path for forgiveness and redemption for all beings, the end resulting in serenity.

Much of her ability regarding Force technique is focused in purity and healing, detecting the light and dark sides of the Force as well as injuries, both physical and mental, in allies and opponent's alike. Contrast to her beliefs, Rie Lin is a skilled Yuuzhan Warrior, and has constructed her lightsaber hilt from Yorik coral, while the blade itself matches her golden gaze.
