Urahara as a raccoon (silly, cute animal that seems playful at first but will absolutely wreck you if you cross its boundaries, is known across many cultures for being a trickster and for its good dexterity. Raccoons are also seen as archetypes of dirty/musty animals and are sometimes seen collecting odd objects for no apparent reason, which I think suits his shopkeeper vibe as well), Jinta as a stink bug/ assassin bug hybrid (quirky, small, and strong, both of these bugs are not ones to take manhandling well. I think the colors and attitude suits him too), and Ururu as a leafhopper/ mantis hybrid (meek, cute, and well loved. These bugs are also strong and athletic but like to spend their days doing things like sunbathing or sipping on plants). Both of the kids are hybrids because of their origin as Gikon.
