A truly amazing picture. The colours are amazing alonside with the textures, especially for the fur.
As my teacher once said to me
"A great artist draws what he sees, not what he knows"
The detail in this picture is also to be said to be truly amazing. From the black coloured skin below the fur, to the fact that the shading around the eye was bery carefully shaded.
The Accuracy of this picture to the reference is also to be said incredibly amazing (except the background of course) The fact that the background is not included makes the focal point of the picture very clear, which is a good thing.

Hmm thought I commented on this... anyways, I have a lot of updates of yours to view, you are certainly belting these out quickly! Hope that art show goes well! But all your work is the result of incredible talent so I'm sure you will do great.
This one is less detailed on the fur than some of your other work, but lovely nonetheless. Especially teh skin arouns her mouth, and the shading and coloring on the teeth. Only thing really bugging me is the pupil being so centered, while it looks the same as the picture it gives the appearance of the cat being tranquilized. The tongue poking through her font teeth is adorable, I love it when my cat at home does thing. Simply too adorable! The subtle change of color between the yellow and white fur looks very natural. Overall I love the picture!

Thanks again Krista. I will be slowing down now and doing bigger boards. So you will not be getting daily updates.
I was not fully satisfied with any of the boards that I posted in the last one month. Once it reached a stage where it was presentable, I stopped and moved on to the next board. But I now feel that there is a lot of improvement that could have been made to those boards had I taken the time.

Your work is much more vibrant than the original photo. Your colours are much darker which possibly affects the realism you want to achieve? I am not too sure!! If one day I could achieve anything nearly as great as this I would be happy!! Your work is always stunning and a joy to see pop into my watched deviations!!

Thank you!
I was not striving for realism actually. I was under time pressure to submit as many works as possible for an art show and I finished this in less than 3 hours.

Coolio! I don't want to do a critique because from an amateur, not even that, like me, would praise it so much!
