Man, I am on a fanart kick. Apologies for that. Felt like drawing Kitty Pryde- there's something extremely satisfying about drawing her partially phased into a surface.-C

Kinda reminds me of a befreckled Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. Maybe Rosie from the epilogue of "Deathly Hallows"?

Really like this, the lighting is gorgeous and the freckles are cute with the bubbly hair, curious as to whether you'd read Joss Whedon's run on Astonishing X-Men as this really reminded me of a part of it, of course Kitty phasing isn't exactly unique to that series (obviously!), I think it was just that she's enveloped in black that did it, who knows?!

This is superb. The facial expression carries it really far in my book. It is through facial expressions that the characters we draw are accurately represented. You have illustrated this point marvelously. It's almost as if you know Kitty Pryde personally. The valkyries will find you worthy of Valhalla, no question.
