I really like this! I would have suggested adding some water displacement around the spoon, but I feel that the calm of the water adds a lot to the conceptual possibilities of the work. Keep it up!

Interesting concept! I think you could add some more highlights on the water to make it blend better with the plate, right now it looks a tad too sharp. And it could also be a good idea to make some more highlights on the plate (bottom, maybe just above the base), and even have some reflections from the table, like here for example- thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/christ… since it has a shiny surface. Maybe also reposition the plate higher somehow if it's the focus of this image.
