New character! He's one of Mal's ancestors. :'3c So he lives in the 1600's! (Malice was born 1992)

I named him after Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries cuz I got inspiration from him. xD But he's already far different than Damon. >3>
He's watching Ellwood and Primrose burn at the stake. Oop. Also he's the cause of it as well. More oop. He didn't expect humans to react like this. >3>

Thief the Dark Project and it's squeal Thief 2 the Metal Age are stealth games. set in a medieval fantasy steampunk world where you play as Garret the master thief.
Basically picture if you took the thief role-play from Skyrim made a whole game around just being a thief fleshed out the mechanics and refined and the whole experience down to a science.
They'reΒ a type of game called immersive sims. Which basically means that instead of having scripted uses of items you use them where it makes logical sense.
A little bit like legend of zelda but Thief leans a lot more into these systems, and they're a bit more open.
Examples include like putting out torches with water arrows to create a patch of shadows to hide in, sticking rope arrows to wooden roof to clime up on a balcony or putting down a moss arrow to muffle your footsteps while crossing clanking metal grating. You can even shoot your broad head arrows against a wall by some zombies lead guards to their doom.
The part I was talking about was the cut-scenes which use moving drawings and computer animation mixed with a bit of live action to tell the story as opposed to in-game models.
