Here we have Ryu and Juri Han from the Street fighter 4 game that was created by Capcom.
I have no affiliation with them nor do I have any ownership of these two characters what so ever.

Well here's another Street Fighter piece I mentioned I'd do. It was an interesting experimentation, and it was fun trying new things on this one. Different methods of colouring and what not.

Juri Han is the newest character of Street fighter roster presented to date. She is a Korean martial artist and an all-out sadistic psycho girl (which is my kind of girl).

And everyone knows the Street Fighters poster boy Ryu. The wandering warrior who seeks out new challenges until he has mastered the art of Fighting.

Why put these two characters together like this? CONFLICT! When I was having breakfast one day I thought about it and Juri and Ryu couldn't possibly have any more conflicting attributes then they already have.

Taekwando vs Ryu's dumbed down Ansatsuken (art of killing, but also dubbed as Karate to some).

Korea vs Japan (Korea and Japan don't like each other very much due to historical ineractions)

Woman vs Man (we all know this story)

Sensual vs Mental (That's a new one)

I could go on and on with these two, but I think most people get the idea.
I've come to like Juri very much, she's a very original character and a nice addition to the roster. I like that she's a bad guy and not another fighter with a cause, she's simply working for the bad guy (Seth) and looking for trouble.

I also feel Ryu didn't get enough female interaction *laughs* well I guess this is a good taste of what he's missing...A TOUGH FIGHT!

Anyways, this was a warm up for the next piece I'll be doing; a fully coloured comic page of these two characters. It won't be based of any cannon things, but just to see what a fully coloured comic page would look like.
This piece was good practice for me to get a feel for these two characters.
