Thanks. I've been wanting to come back to make models for over a year. Too bad I've got too much work to spare time; but if I don't work I wouldn't be able to buy the things I need. Such a conundrum...

This is my favourite variation of the mighty wolf. I've always pictured the town variant to be like a command unit, sitting back in the field, and providing tactical support, while picking off smaller Zoids from long range.
Very very cool work. I love Spec Op style Zoids and this is definitly number 1 in my top 5.

Thanks. I really appreciate your comment. I like the way you envision this CW variant.

I remember seeing this in the Chaotic Century anime. I always wished someone would make a custom CW model that looked like this one... I would do it myself, but i'm not at all skilled in customizing. Most I can do is repaints.

Yes, it would be great if anyone would make a custom... anyone?

Thanks, I hope so, this would be the Zoids' equivalent to a tank... and I've always considered tanks as coffins with tracks...

HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !! You're such a genius. This is what the Zoid I have always dreamt of! Looks like the Panzer Wolf I tried (and failed) to draw, but unlike mine this is perfect. It's here if you want to take a look

Thank you very much my friend; if you want, after finishing the AC variant of the C Wolf, I would try to model your Panzer Wolf (as a collaboration, your idea and my modeling), nice concept BTW

Crap thats a command wolf that can blow a hole in a Gogigjulas! (sorry if i spelled it wrong)

Not really. The Command Wolf Town, often coined the Urban Warfare Version by fans, indeed has big guns, but the armor of a Gojulas is tremendously strong. The Gojulas would blow through the Wolf's armor before it was able to blast all the way through the Gojulas xD

Unfortunately, with all my love for Command Wolfs, I agree with you. The CW will be dead meat, totally. The only scenario in which the CW could win over a Gojulas is outmaneuvering it and placing itself behind the Gojulas before it turns to attack, and then placing again at its back, and again and again (remember the Gojulas armor), though the approaching would be hell.

then there's teh Gojulas' hyper flexible tail ans surprising maneuverability for a Zoid of its size. but yeah, Gojulas is beast

Pork-Cow In reply to pika247 [2011-12-22 05:02:40 +0000 UTC]
Command Wolf is a Zoid that has been left behind by all the newer and better Zoids of the same type. It's a good base design and was great and flexible in it's time. But it has since been surpassed by others, like the Konig Wolf, Zeekdober, and HoundSoldier.
Command Wolf wouldn't stand a chance against a Gojulas.
Now, A Houndsoldier or Zeekdober could easily lay waste to a Gojulas. They have strong close combat arsenals and are built for speed. Houndsoldier with it's top speed of 330 km/h and Twin Cross Lances, and Zeekdober with it's top speed of 350 km/h and Hell Blazer blades, both could easily perform hit-and-run tactics on a Gojulas and ground it before it could retaliate, due to it's size and ponderously slow speed (75 km/h).
/nerd rant

I'll agree on those stats, but you have to consider the Gojulas' HUGE arsenal. Those Twin Supercannons could blow any of these doggies away, not to mention the Gojulas' Machineguns. Also, brute strength and a hyper-flexible tail. As much as I love the Zeekdober and the Houndsoldier, you don't f**k with a Gojulas unless you have the necessary force

Pork-Cow In reply to pika247 [2011-12-22 13:40:33 +0000 UTC]
Zeekdober and Houndsoldier are incredibly agile. Maybe the Houndsoldier might fall to the supercannons if the Gojulas got a good shot on it, but the Zeekdober wouldn't, with it's booster engaged it can run at an almost unbelieveable Mach 1.3 apprently. Even those Supercannons couldn't hope to hit something moving that fast. And imagine the brute force the Zeekdober's blades would have going at that speed... I'd dare to say it could cut right through that tail.
This is all going on a regular Gojulas. Now if we were talking about a Gojulas Giga here, I wouldn't have any doubts that that beast could annihilate both the Houndsoldier and Zeekdober with ease.

pika247 In reply to Pork-Cow [2011-12-22 18:18:55 +0000 UTC]
Well, the Gojulas is still incredibly adept at close quarters as well, so then you have the claws, teeth, and incredible strength to deal with.
I was actually gonna say that if you got to upgrade to Houndsoldier and Zeek, then I'd end up using Giga and King Gojulas xD

Pork-Cow In reply to pika247 [2011-12-23 01:07:58 +0000 UTC]
King Gojulas is a goddamn hax machine spawned by the Zoid god.
Of course there's the Descat that was supposed to be designed to combat it, with some gun that generates an atificial black hole inside the Zoid it shoots at. Still, I wouldn't even count on something like that being able to beat it, unless it penetrated the armour.

pika247 In reply to Pork-Cow [2011-12-23 01:21:40 +0000 UTC]
Deadborder could do a similar thing, only it has two such cannons, and it threw a Death Saurer and crushed an Ultrasaurus. If you want to know how the Descat works, the Guardian Force anime explains it best with the Ultrasautus GC (Gravity Cannon)

Pork-Cow In reply to pika247 [2011-12-23 06:49:00 +0000 UTC]
If it can do that, then it could probably beat the King Gojulas, but only if said shot penetrated its armour.
"However, the Zoid's most distinctive and unusual feature is its main weapon, the Super Gravity Bullet Cannon. Completely different in designs to the gravity distorting weapons mounted on the Deadborder and Gilvader, the Descat's weapon fires superdense shells. This creates an artificial black hole within the target, either causing the Zoid to implode or tearing it apart."
It's not like it'd be hard to hit the KG since it's so damn huge. And considering that the Descat was designed specifically to combat the KG, one would assume the shell would be able to penetrate the KG's armour; meaning goodbye King Gojulas. Damn...

pika247 In reply to Pork-Cow [2011-12-23 07:03:20 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, but considering the KG would likely have a troop of other republican Zoids helping it out, and the fact that its guns are so powerful, I don't think most Descats would make it to the firing range xD
