It's been a while since I did not make a matte sci-fi scene and here is "The Terminal".This one is fully inspired by a French artist I discovered in the following book in french (sorry...): [link]
It's Paul Chadeisson I should credit him for the composition and the brushes he kindly shared, check out his website: [link]
Have a look at his gallery, it's really good.
Nevertheless, everything has been fully made by myself, no like for like elements. I added many things, details and textures.

Good work. I like the composition and pallet. I like the light. If there is one thing that I would like different, it is what looks to be another planet or moon in the far right last quarter of the piece. I would like it to be more lit by the star that is behind the closer sphere. I just feel that it would be if this was a photo. I really like the shadowy structures that are silhouetted. Would a few of them might have some light from that star, too? I don't know. Perhaps I am being knit-picky? This is a really good work, and I've faved it.

Hey thx for the fav and detailed comment! Yeah I was wandering whether I should put the effect of the light onto some buildings but after looking at some other pieces it seems that they rather faint with the overlight than rather see edges hit by the light. It's hard to determine. As regards the planet you're probably right, I did not put too much light since too me the planet is really far and thus cannot be too glittering. But maybe a bit more would have been better you're correct.
