From your own note, this was a frustrating picture to take. However, I'm VERY glad that you did. It's a MARVELOUS concept, and made me smile. Part of me want to ask how you did it, part of me thinks that I've half-way figured it out, and part of me wants to leave it a sort of mystery.
I don't know much about technique or anything, but I wonder about the colors that you chose, and if you would have been able to change the background. Or have a closer background. Possibly a lighter colored mug in front of a nearer background might have been even more effective. That's just me randomly brain-storming. I'm quite glad that I saw this photo!
