New headcanon alert!
Okay, so this picture (for some reason) made me think... What if Angel wasn't really a bunny? What if he's actually a handsome knight of Canterlot, who got transformed into a bunny on a mission to catch an enchantress?
If this happened, Angel would be doing everything he can to get Fluttershy to kiss him, this being the key to breaking the spell. He acts out the way he does because he just can't get through to her that he's a stallion. He just can't seem to get a grip on whatever vocals bunnies have, and Fluttershy always has a hard time understanding him because of it.
Angel wants to be the prince of Fluttershy's heart, having completely fallen in love with her because of her caring, nurturing ways.
