Twilight couldn't take it anymore! Starlight was talking about ponies accusing her that she cast a magic spell on Scootaloo. "STARLIGHT!" Twilight yelled. At that point, Starlight went silent. She didn't mean to go rambling in her sarcastic tone about ponies spreading rumors that she did the deed, not Twilight. The purple alicorn had to confess to her best friend. What else could she do? "Starlight does have enough magic to cast the spell." Twilight thought. "Wait! No! She didn't do this! I sent her to the Crystal Empire so she can be with her friend Sunburst. She was feeling lonely and missed foalsitting Flurry Heart. I guess she needed a break from her studying" Twilight sighed and was ready to let it all out to Starlight.
- Starlight, you did not cast the spell. I did it! I made Scootaloo into an Alicorn.
- What? But-But why?
- While you were at the Crystal Empire to foalsit Flurry Heart with your friend Sunburst, Scootaloo came to the Friendship castle and ask if she would like to be an alicorn. I found a book about how to turn a unicorn and pegasus into an alicorn. Well, it was a huge mistake and all she got was a unicorn horn. (softly) What have I done?

Her wings are kinda small for an ascended Alicorn. Ha!
Ah... But all kidding aside, the Princess of Perseverance would be the best title I could ever think of for Scootaloo. This little flightless firebrand is a fighter, that much is obvious. As we've seen of her in the series, she never quits. Sure, she may not be the best or most polished at whatever she does, but her sheer tenacity has always appealed to me.
Not to say that everything in life can be achieved, mind, but my favorite aspect of Scootaloo has always been her never-say-die attitude. Even though her tiny wings seem unlikely to get her off the ground anytime soon, she still has Rainbow Dash's heart; I bet that makes ponies' jaws drop in awe.
