Happy 8th Anniversary MLP !
It's been 8 years already? Wow... where has the time went? I remember seeing this show just like it was yesterday! My discovery with the show was quite interesting. My friend was actually the one who kept talking about it and I did not think too much of it at the time, and to be honest, I too felt it was a little strange. Luckily, one night I explored YouTube looking at some YouTube Poops of random things and came across one of My Little Pony. About a few minutes into it, I didn't know what to think, that is until I watched another and thought to myself... I really should just watch one of the latest episodes first and see how it is. Right then and there I decided to do just that and at the time it was Somepony To Watch Over Me. I was impressed at how touching that it really was, so much that it made me tear up at the end and therefore, I decided to watch every episode backwards... yes... backwards. XD
From that day on.. March of 2014, that was one surprising month for me as I became a brony and eventually joined Deviant Art! I love this show so much, and it's incredible to see how far it has come in 8 years!

Of course, as frazzled as she looks, unlike the other Princesses, doing paperwork is Twilight's favorite part of the job.
And I remember the first time I came across the show. I was just reading TV Tropes and it kept mentioning it, so I grabbed a 12 pack and watched the first three episodes. Didn't think much of it, but found it enjoyable enough to keep watching. Then I watched "Look Before You Sleep" (S1Ep8) and from there I was hooked. That was July 2011, all the way back when there was only Season 1 and it was a wait until Season 2 started...

Oh yes. It was beautiful. Especially the time between Seasons 2 and 3. It was magnificent.
Then came the Dark Age. That horrible, horrible time between Seasons 3 and 4. It's funny now in hindsight how blown out of proportion everything ended up being (which is what I thought at the time as well), but at the time...:shudder: Not a great time to be a fan.

I took me several months of convincing to get me into the show, and I am so glad that I gave it a try. I quickly noticed that Twilight Sparkle and I are very similar in quirks and interests, so she naturally became my favorite. I admire her more than ever now because of how much she is doing lately. I wonder how she will handle a family in addition to it all.
