Description
The lovebirds get to the restaurant where they discuss things while waiting to order. An off handed comment from the Doctor however opens up a little bit of the mailmare's tragic past. But there isn't anything that can get fixed by some dancing.Remember... she is on this date cause of your votes. So you are the other ponies who care for her. <3
I am very much aware of the fandom belief that Ponet, Pokey is Dinky's father and that the two of them are now divorced or something...
However I fell in love with this fanfic [link] and thought that to be an incredibly suitable back story to our mailmare's early years and Dinky's origins. Enjoy the comic for what it is if you do not agree.

I always just assumed Sparkler was Dinky's half sister, same dad different mother. Dad was married, became a widower, married Ditzy and then had Dinky. Love the story by the way. I really hope the Doctor returns her feelings. Time/Bubbles ftw [link]

Sometimes fictions, other people's ideas, inspire us and set well with us. I always knew that if Derpy had a story, it would be a tragic one, and while I created my own in a story, I truly love the one you used. She grew up with a stallion who loved her, who was there for her, and that meant she had a happy life. That makes me happy, teary even, despite his disappearance, because now she can be happy again. ^^ Especially thanks to "free bread"!
