Anyone who's lived in the UK knows when it's an Indian accent on the phone. Half of the nation's industry seems to be outsourced to Bombay. I have never heard of a Sri Lankan telemarketer, although I'm sure there are some.
Not to bash the people of India, the real problem is the errors in judgement made by the people who are responsible for outsourcing work, and the confusion caused by the differences in dialects between the British and the Indians.
