Description Accepted this week for testing at Daz3d!  One-poly transmapped bits are very lightweight with dForce.  The Rigged Water dForce set did astonishingly well, and I hope this will too; I'll have to see what else I can do with simming polys!  It's ever so much fun.  This has holiday type confetti, but also nature pieces like leaves, petals, sparks, dandelion seeds, and feathers.  It was so much fun to be able to actually drop all my things onto the scene, just like they do in Blender's particle sims!

Rendered in Daz Studio Pro in Iray, postwork to composite canvases in Affinity Photo and then GIMP.

Beautiful draping, and I love how much those rose petals actually add.

Thanks, I appreciate that! Sadly the product didn't do that well, but those are the breaks.

It's out, and in my cart!

I was wondering what rain drops might look like using something like this

Ooh h h, the thumbnail looked a bit more gruesome, crazy idea, could this be used to simulate blood splatter?

It does seem like dForce should be the way to do it.

I haven't played much with dForce yet, but now that you're producing content for it I really should take the plunge. Especially since this and the water pack don't seem dependent on using G8 figures.

SickleYield In reply to Dangerguy01 [2018-04-21 03:52:09 +0000 UTC]

Nope, neither this nor the water set are dependent on any figure!

That is a really nice promo. I do hope she is merely sleeping!

I wonder how well snow would work as that sort of one-poly sim. Especially if you can concoct some wind modifier settings presets.

SickleYield In reply to vwrangler [2018-04-21 03:51:23 +0000 UTC]

It's meant to be ambiguous.  Flower petals usually indicate someone is dead, but hey, maybe it's one of those Disney style deathlike sleeps that can be broken by being kissed by your sister or mother figure.
