Comment update:
I had soo many reactions to this:
- creeps people out
- people can´t stop staring at it
- some find it entrancing, hypnotizing
- some find it mesmerizing
- some get LSD flashback
- some never took LSD, but start feeling like they´re on
- some find it sexy, erotic
- some see it in their nightmares
- some want to touch it
- some want to eat it
- some get sucked in by it
- some think of jello
- some just love
- to some, it seems to be alive
- dance! little bubbles dance!
- some want to byte the top off
- to some, it seems like it wants to tell them something
- it makes people freak out
- it really has some people on the first sight
- some people find it disturbing in a positive way
- many people want to know, how I created it:
I used Maxon Cinema 4D 11.5
Created a pretty tesselated polygon pyramid, which vertices were used to place all the orbs. That works with a cloner object (central tool of Mograph)
A random-effector creates the motion.
The effector has a limited shape with a falloff.
I placed the effector above the pyramid, so the falloff makes the bottom orbs wobble less than the ones on top.
Of course, the pyramid itself must be invisible, so you only see the orbs in the final render.

You're welcome, I bet if you were on some sort of hallucinogen such as magic mushrooms, you could like be entertained by that for quite some time.

Yeah, I'm sober and it just radiates awesomeness, however if I did consume some sort of mind-expanding compound it would look even more awesome, hehe.

Nothing like a good cup of coffee, though don't drink coffee and eat donuts. Piggies do that.

when I press to see the full size my browser gets really slow.. Safari completely crashed.. chrome seems to be the only browser that can keep running at extremely slow speed.. I waited for around 3 minutes and it didnt get faster.. i thought mayb if it buffered all the frames it would get faster.. i think something is wrong with it when you run it with mac/?

You are the first one, who has a problem with watching it. Try to load it down and watch it from your HD

ohh man!!!
it...causes me some nausea...i mean...it's real nice...amazing actually...but the construction itself, the way...it moves...it scares me, but, intrigues me...something like, i can't stare at it, but i cannot take my eyes off it
in my perspective...it really completes it's "function". It causes many diferent sensations, experiences.
in a general way, i love it...but in details, i simply cannot like it or dislike it.
but...well done^^

interesting. my first thought upon seeing this was, why don't the ones at the bottom fuck off and let the it all collapse instead of having to endure the burden of the entire structure, especially the shenanigans of its upper layers?

Thank you
In fact, it didn´t. It´s done with mograph. Very simple plugin for cinema 4d.
It really looks trickier than it is when you don´t know what the tools are capable of
