This sprouted out from a discussion and recent RP with KaijuAlpha1point0 , as well as having recently re-watched Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Honestly, I'd nearly forgotten how good this movie actually is. Truly a hidden, forgotten gem from Disney ^^

Anyways, but yes, Godzilla - known to the Atlanteans as Xinlaku - is the Guardian and Protector of the empire of Atlantis, which resides deep within the Hollow Earth. Now, I want to address and say this is not set in the MonsterVerse, but does take some inspirations from it. A closer point of comparison I would say I draw from would be DinoManiaDA 's Godzilla: Lord of The Galaxy/Lordverse, though not outright copying and pasting it of course
