The spirits were indeed what I meant.
And if you wish to become a Dragon, find the Seekers; Dragons who will "accidentally" show their true form to those who find them. They will bring you to me, where I will do the honors.

Check Furry and Anime conventions, along with Renaissance fairs.
On-duty Seekers will be in Feral form (four legs, two wings) to differentiate themselves from those in costume.
And they'll be easy to spot because in Feral form, adult dragons are really big! Upwards of 1,030 feet tall.
