Great work!!! I like this silhouettes sinking in a sea of ββfire, and panicked commander(?) at the right corner. Also you did very well with details like arrows stuck in the dragon wings or engraving on soldiers armors. This image could be a illustration for a book or concept art for a computer game...

Yeah those little things adds alot to the painting I think, glad you noticed those. Β This image is less than 1/10 of the original artwork, so sadly I lost alot of the original small details with hard edges like scratches, dents, engraving arrows etc but thats just how it is with huge paintings resized into small ones.

Wow. I love that guy's expression of utter panic in the bottom right corner. And I was sitting here and thinking that Artrage didn't have a lot of potential until now...
And how do you draw with so much detail without any references?

Artrage have a lot of potential as you can see, when I started using artrage I just loved it and havent used any other painting program since.
Its just alot of practice, once you learn techniques to draw fire you can do it, when you got a good picture in your mind how a dragon looks like you can imagine it, the men, same thing. I just have good mind pictures, trying to envision the whole thing. I dont get everything right the second I draw it, first I just very loosely add colours here and there using big brushes to get the important things in there, and gradually going smaller and smaller for detailing and adding things as I need them until im happy with the result.
