I would like to use the image in a Magic Set Editor custom project. It is really just a pet project, no profit, purely for fun. If you'd like to know more, please feel free to ask for the details. If you'd prefer if I didn't, just say. Thank you.

I dont know what Magic Set Editor is really, can you explain it more?
It may be ok, but it depending on what this really is and how my painting is going to be used by you.

Basically, it is a program with which people can make custom sets for the card game Magic the Gathering. I am trying to make my own, and while illustrations and artwork arenot neccessary, it does improve the cards drastically. It is not for profit, more of a pet project. The card your art will feature on will be a creature, a serpent, that can only survive in the ocean.

Okey it sounds fine, heres just a few things so its clear if you want to use my painting:
- I dont know about the program you are using or its agreements you accept when youre using the program, but as long as it doesnt claim any rights to use my artwork in any ways at all, it should be fine.
- It can not be used by anyone else than you, and not any other purposes than what you said, as a pet project for yourself, with no profit involved.
- If people ask, I would appreciate it very much if you told them that I am the artist of this painting and maybe a link to my site.
It probably sounds abit much, but I just gotta be careful so many people that steal artwork and stuff, im sure you understand.
Thank you for asking before using, wish more people did that
By the way could you link me the card when youre done? Would be cool to see how it turns out

Beautifully composed!
I'm left wondering abit the fate of the viking ship, mind you - that longship looks very small compared to Jormungandr
I like how the reflect sunset shows through the tattered rips of the sail (I love the viking at the front of the boat with his sword arm upraised towards Jormungandr - like he's personally going to take care of the serpent himself!
An interesting piece - thank you for sharing!

Thank you very much for the comment really appreaciate it!
hehe yeah, most things would appear small compared to that beast, but some sea snake in the water aint enough to scare these guys, they are vikings after all, and the serpent aint the only one whos pissed off!

You're welcome
Who came off as the winner of this scene?
I can almost see the viking warriors jumping off the longship and climbing all over the serpent's face.
It's a good image - makes you think!

Im not gonna say anything about how it ends, the viewer must make up their own minds about that.
Yeah I think its more interesting if a painting have alittle mystery, or some action where you dont know whats gonna happen next cause then the viewer can think for themselves

I like and respect that - until I started experimenting with Apo 7x, I wrote alot of poetry, where I often left something important unsaid, specifically for the viewer to imagine their own outcome.
