Description
Deuxième et dernière partie de comic strip.Donc vous voyez bien qu'ici la scène est reprise de celle de l'intro de La Planète au Trésor (avec quelques modifications mineures). Je trouvais en fait que la scène collait parfaitement, alors j'ai voulu faire pareil.
Je suis divertie par le petit Erol qui saute *out*
Je ne sais pas quoi rajouter d'autre en réalité, donc dans le doute....

Traduction en français:
Erol (en même temps que le livre): La pierre des Précurseurs
Anisha: Allez, fini les Histoires de Mar pour ce soir.
Anisha: Il est largement l'heure de se coucher.
Erol: Maman, comment crois-tu que Mar a réussit à déjouer le chef des Metal Heads avec seulement son épée?
Erol: Comment il a fait face au Metal Head.
Erol: A sorti Honneur
Erol: L'a planté dans le sol.
Erol: Et a trompé l'ennemi.
Anisha: Mmh, je n'en suis pas sûre. Mais en tout cas....
Anisha: *fait une voix grave* Je suis un Metal Heads, je vais de manger!
Anisha: Fini de jouer mon petit soldat. Il faut dormir maintenant.
Erol: Je t'aime très fort maman.
Anisha: Moi aussi je t'aime très fort Erol.

Second and last part of this comic strip.
So you see that the scene is the one of the intro of Treasure Planet movie (with more or less modifications). I found that the scene was perfect, so, I wanted to do the same.
The little Erol, when he "flies", makes me happy *out*
I don't know what to say anymore, so...

Actually in my vision, he lived other hard things, but the loss of his mother is the one that shocked him the most.

Well ... in fact, in my version (and there is a little "fan") I do not know why, one day the penny dropped, I thought Erol was adopted by Damas. Why I think that? Seriously I do not know ^^"
So I thought that people find me weird
Logically, with the putsch of Praxis, Erol lose his father, so Damas is exiled to the wasteland (ie death sentence) Erol therefore think Damas is dead.
Erol was intelligent, his father doubted Praxis up to something, so he asked his son to spy and get a little closer to him. Erol was therefore already well seen by Praxis, but he was actually a spy. Maybe Praxis told him his vision to fight the MH, and perhaps Erol thought Praxis was not wrong (it does not mean Erol wanted the death of his father eh, just that Damas listens to the plans of Praxis) But Damas thought Praxis was too reckless, his plans to fight the nest of Metal Heads is too dangerous. I guess Damas was a little coward, in the sense that it does not want to do an open war against the Metal Heads for fear of heavy military casualties.... but on the other hand he does not react, and the Metal Heads are gaining more and more land.
Which is why the people who had lost faith in Damas, and left Praxis take the power.
Praxis therefore accuses Damas of high treason against Haven City, this even more important that Damas was the King himself. That's why he banished Damas in the Wasteland, this is a death sentence. Damas would be the savior of his people, the savior of Haven City ... but he did nothing, that is why people with Praxis (his former friend) blame him. I think after, Praxis (with probably the Count Veger, head of the Council of Haven City) have created slander, false scandals to fall Damas.
Praxis therefore wants to get rid of the royal family, remains the Queen Anisha (the one seen in the comics, the adoptive mother of Erol and therefore the mother of Jak), Erol himself and baby Jak (about 6 months or less). I guess Praxis does not want to kill them, he was not a monster (at least not at the beginning of his mandate, after the power he has gone to his head and he became paranoid and megalomaniac) I guess that he had placed at the head of the rest of the royal family in detention but in a highly monitored home where they live normally, but will be monitored 24h/24 by Krimzon Guards (like the Romanov family) As Praxis always had an eye on the royal family and descendants de Mar.
Here I do not know if I do that Damas is already exiled or not. I guess that Damas has also lived in the prison house with his family until one day ...
As in Jak 3 Veger said he removed baby Jak. At first I was not sure what to make of this element, it does not coincide with my story. But then, all the pieces can be glued: I swear that when I tell you, I got the idea of prison residence as the Romanov family and I have stuck Veger with it. I know not by what means, Veger kidnapped the child I do not know what Machiavellian reasons. In any case, Praxis realized that the heir had disappeared. He then accused Damas and Anisha have hidden the child without his knowledge. I guess Veger has "helped" to issue this assumption ( grrr, cursed Veger ! Lol)
This would explain why so Praxis went to ban Damas for high treason. We all know the fate of Damas after...
But his wife, Anisha, what happened to her? She has been imprisoned, accused of high treason also.... and the death penalty. I guess she was executed in the public square to make an example of anyone who dares betray Haven City (in other words, disobey Praxis) incurs the death penalty. The few pro-Damas ( precursors of the Undergrounds ) which remain are hopeless, or their group is dismembered or all executed (but then discreetly to the public)
I come here to Erol. Meanwhile, what does he do? He was well thought of Praxis who saw him as a great potential ( irony, as it will later be his commander ) Although Praxis was a pity that he is part of the royal family, he noticed Erol was thinking not at all like his father ( I spotted here, it is not because Erol was not in agreement with Damas, he wanted the death of his father and did not like him), after all Erol was only adopted in either he had no blood ties with Damas .
Maybe that spying Praxis ( as I said above), Erol has gradually believed in Praxis. They looked like in their temerity ( Erol is a spirited young man, it is normal to be fearless and proud conqueror )
I guess he lived in the prison house, with the rest of his family. However I did not have all the details of how he officially joined Praxis .
In any case, he witnesses the execution of her mother who made him promise not to intervene. Listening himself, Erol would throw on her to save her, he would have killed all the Krimzon Guards who dared to attack her, etc ... But he had promised his mother not to intervene ... and he sees his mother's conduct against the wall; and he sees Krimzon Guards approached her; removing weapons, aim, and he looks at his mother tenderly fixed; and that it seems endless .... and he finally hears the " BANG " of the guns.
So yes, he saw his mother being shot, it is understandable that he became a little "crazy"
To add the "spice", I forgot to mention that I saw very well that Erol and Ashelin be childhood friends . Perhaps even at the time when they were little and their parents noticed they got along well (which does not prevent them bickered very often ) had planned a potential marriage between the two ( as is done in great families)
But during the putsch of Praxis, Ashelin followed his father initially, like most people, she actually thought he could save Haven City .... and then she quickly realized ( too late ) that his father was a megalomaniac .
Briefly, after the putsch of Praxi,s for many reasons more or less important , Erol and Ashelin were not on the same wavelength. They took different ways. Are they had feelings one for the other? Certainly. Are they still have? I do not know. In any case, Erol decided to be tas far as possible to Ashelin (which is why she has the feeling of not knowing her former best friend , and why she thinks he is junk ) to protect himself (in fact Erol wants to have his revenge on Praxis, which is why he does everything to get ahead as quickly as possible, quickly becomes close to Praxis .... but with time , his desire for revenge is not the priority ... I will not dwell on this point here ), but also to protect her. Indeed, Erol is particularly injured and is a giant open wound , so he can be really violent and dangerous. Especially that he would sacrifice everything to carry out his plans (even sacrificing innocent ... ) So he wants to protect Ashelin to himself.
In summary , he loses his rank of " prince " of Haven City and is relegated to simple officer in the krimzon army; he lose his house, his habits, etc ... and he loses his father Damas banned in Wasteland, so he thinks that his father died ( ironic or cruel fate , we know that this is not the case ); he lost his mother who is executed before him; he loses his little brother that he does not know at all where he is now; he loses his best friend Ashelin , etc ...
In short , he loses his past life. It is for this reason that there is such a difference between the front and Erol that we know.
That is my vision. I'm really sorry if this is so loooong :S But if I had short , you would not understand . I love when it is complex
Honestly, when I see Erol in the game, I really find this is a complex character . Most people do him stupid and evil . But there are many details that prove otherwise.
For example: Erol has some attention to his army, in the cinematic intro , he said Praxis well that "if there is no new weapon, my men will not hold forever" If he truly did not care, he would not say anything.
Even in the face of the hologram Kor in the throne room , Erol told Praxis "he toys with us, let me attack the nest, I know I can do it " He is fearless and reckless , this is normal , we feel that here he wants to win the war and that Haven City is saved. He has as probably enough of Praxis who is stagnant and think more to retain his throne , not to save the city (just like before Damas , whose irony )

I hope you like my vision of him and it makes sense. Even though I know it's a little "fan" I really try to be consistent with the game and honestly ... There's a lot of things that are lit up with my explanation xD I know why Erol behaves well ... and I can understand that.
PS: in Jak 2 , Erol obviously does not know that Jak is actually his brother 83

I do not know , I would say both : Erol child is just too cute , and it is the symbol of this period of innocence and pure joy of post -Praxis period . But adult Erol is just too cool! I think I prefer adult Erol: complex , intriguing, bad guy and badass... u3u too sexy lol

Oh gosh. In the first 3 paragraphs I was giggling and was enjoying this. But after that, things started getting deeper and deeper. Things started making more and more sense. So many feels in this. I feel like crying. I never hated him, I just always wanted more details on why he did the things he did. He always seemed like he COULD be a like-able character.
But this whole lil "fan" story you did. It's quite interesting and amazing and epic all at once. I would never in my life have thought of this being the whole reason causing mass chaos. The part with his mother. *pulls hair* My god..... This is so tense. How the hell did you manage all this from just a simple child so called "video game"?
Now I'm just siting here... Trying to process all this in my head. I mean, you're like this only person that will look at SOMTHING like this and just.... my god. I will NEVER look at the Jak II and Jak 3 the same again. NEVER. THIS IS SO DEEP BUT YET THE MOST EPIC THING EVAR. Man, I just thought of SOMTHING.
What happened if they turned this whole script thing into a movie. How awesome would that be. Just think about it. I'd bet so many people would go to the movies to watch this. But what would the title be? Like they had a movie that started from "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy" to "Jak II and III". I'd watch it til I got sick of it(which would be never).
But yea, I guess Erol can be a pretty cool character. The only reason I didn't like him in the beginning was because I thought he was creepy. My favorite character is Torn though. I'd love to see if he had a back-ground story. More info on like "how he became a Krimson Guard?" And "Why did he leave?" Who doesn't like a guy who takes charge? *giggle flail*
I also love his comedic hatred towards Daxter. It's seems Dax's lil comments always piss him off like "Tattooed Wonder". *laughs loudly* There's a lot of fans out there who say Torn is "too hard" on Jak. Or he's "cold hearted". I actually like his personality and his voice. Maybe perhaps this cold-hearted General has a softer side? Just maybe?
But yes, anyways I just simply love all this. It's not long at all... I love how you explained all this. I actually wish there was more. Man, I wish there was a fav button for comments. Cause yours deserve 100 out of 5 stars. Even my comment got a lil long.

I still have a little scared when I move my story ( including Erol ) since it is a bit subjective. I admit it's a little because Erol is my favorite character that I created for him this incredible back-story. UGH, Now I'm having mixed crying feeling for torn as well. Man, I really love the descriptions. You shout turns them into like lil stores. Or better yet make fanficts. Or you could draw them out. *shrugs*
I forgot that girls name but I think it's was Torns sister or something but the part when she died, that was sad.
Now if feel like drawing one of my OCs with Torn but he's so hard to draw. Like seriously, Jak is waaaay easier than drawing Torn and Erol. I love the way you draw him though. *sighs sadly*

I'd like to actually make a comic. It would be the years of the reign of Praxis just before Jak 2, so just before Jak arrives from the past. Explain what happened , why and how this or that character got there, explain more details. It would show the war against the MH side of KG but also the civilian side . It would therefore be the main plot (ie the war against the MH) but at the same there would be more pronounced episodes on a particular character (for ex. a special episode about Torn , special Ashelin , or other ... )
I have lots of ideas, it is not lacking but .... it takes so long to make my ideas O_O Why can not they leave directly from my brain and stick to the leaf? UoU
This is the wife of Torn, Kailin. I found more dramatic than Torn has had a wife ^^ Who knows why, sometimes I'm playing Jak or even I'm being ( I say randomly ) in the bus ... and "tilt", I have an idea for the past of Torn, for the past of Erol or another you see xD So one day, I walk quietly in the street, when suddenly .... "Hey, and if Torn had a wife before? OoO "
Torn is the hardest to draw I find .... because of his uniform I think. I assure you ^^ I 'm still struggling to do him.
You know ... before ... if I showed how I drew the characters from Jak ... urgh :S I am ashamed when I fall back on my old drawings XD

Et bien... pas tellement non. En fait c'est surtout la coloration qui me prend du temps, vu que je travaille avec Photofiltre et que ce logiciel n'est pas vraiment fait pour ça (je veux dire Photoshop est bien meilleur là dessus, le délire des calques est beaucoup plus ergonomique)
En tout cas, merci beaucoup pour tes deux commentaires. Vraiment contente que tu aimes: ça me fait toujours plaisir de ta part

Je ne sais pas trop comment marche photofiltre, donc je pourrais pas trop me faire une idée, mais j'ai toujours cru que c'était pour les retouches et non pour le dessin O_o

Oui exactement, Photofiltre est plus apte aux retouches - montages, qu'aux dessins en soit... mais bon vu qu'il est gratuit et que j'ai que àa pour l'instant, je me contente de ça
