So yeah, here we have the reason Emerald's a pacifist now. She was part of the rebellion for Earth back in the day, but hated the thought of going up against her fellow Gems, she tried to bring up the fact of working it all out peacefully but after a while that just wouldn't work out. So Emerald fought, maybe killing a few gems, and after that ran off into hiding on earth. She now lives on a farmhouse in the middle of an island out in the ocean somewhere . She travels less than she used to, but when she does it's usually by boat and she doesn't stay in the place she's visiting for long.
