I've always been a big fan of Art Nouveau and Mucha's style. And It's nice to see Idunna getting some love, as most people if they opt to create art based on the Norse Myths tend to focus on Odin and Thor.

Hello Wanderingimage

Thanks, I will do some more work in that style in the future.
I also like Art Nouveau and Mucha's style.
In the first time, The Idun was a test how to mix some nordic mythology with the Art Nouveau and Mucha's style. And i thought
portrating Idun could be nice to try out in ths style.

Freyja, Frigga & Sif I think also make great candidates for that sort of style. Hella might also be nice in that style too.

While I'd love to see it, I'd be surprised to see Sigyn, Syn, Hlin, Var, Hel, Ran & Her Nine Daughters, Gerd, etc.

I'm currently working on some, but it's a slow process. My inner critic becomes very picky when I'm working on representations of our Gods. And I went on hiatus with creating art from scratch using traditional methods when I was in college and then graduate school. So I'm relearning how to play with my charcoal, and conte crayons, pencils, watercolors, pastels. I'd like to eventually have a range of images, the whole impetus for it all is I have an Asatru greeting card line in mind, with everything from Sympathy cards, to birth announcements/congratulations for new births, weddings, birthdays, and the holidays.

I do have a few digitally created things, like my own version of the valknot, plus some bookcovers I've done for some Asatru books. But the later are more naturesque with inspiration from the subject matter then specifically Asatru.

I know the problems with the inner critic

If you like Charcoal you should search for "Th. kittlesen" a norwegian trollpainter. check it out.

I would like to see more of your work

I have also posted a new Asathru xmas stamp card i have made to
a Dannish Asathru organisation. Its on my mainpage.

I'll do some research into that artist. Thank you very much for the recommendation.

I noticed the stamp. I really like your take on the traditional art. If you enjoy the traditional artistic style, you might enjoy viewing some of the drinking horns this American artisan, Shrew has made. The one on the right is the horn I commissioned from her depicting the Norns at Urd's Well, with Yggdrassil in the background, and both of Odin's ravens in the tree. Her stuff is amazing. The photos truly do not do the final work justice.

I did upload a couple more things today, my version of a valknut I've used on various items. [link]

And I also uploaded a rough sketch depicting Loki. I tend to have tons of sketches in infinite variation while I work out a concept. I think this is pretty much the concept I'm going to run with now, but I need to obviously work out the kinks and flaws and add in the details. [link]

No problem,

The drawing style on the stamp is inspired of some runestones at "Gotland" sweden.
Nice stuff that guy makes very good for the inspiration.
Thanks for the link.

Nice valknut you have made.

And nice drawing of loki too
