I am not so sure about "the obvious pain of this man",pictures are telling us the stories which lead us to different interpretations.I meet him sometimes on the street and what I can say is that he does not feel pain.He has got his own world and he might be even happy in it,maybe happier than we are, maybe we feel pain when we see this kind of images.
