Drew this a few months ago, as a birthday gift to a friend.Wendy Pini had a huge influence on me, graphically, and Elfquest was the first comic I encountered which had a story that kept running over several books - I had grown up with Belgian and French comics, which traditionally have one adventure per book, or one adventure in two books at most. Elfquest really was a milestone for me, it showed me that comics could be so much more than what I was used to.

Hello, nice to meet you!
Most of this was done with Copic multiliners, with the Pentel brush for the grass and shrubs and the more uniform blacks. I'm rather rubbish with real pens; the multiliners are tiny felt tips, much better for me
