Description
I made this for the announcement of the birth of my niece. She is half Nepali and her father's protector is Ganesh. I imagine he'll look after the baby girl as wellFaber-Castell PITT pens and watercolour on Fabriano watercolour paper.

My congratulations to your niece! This beautiful Ganesh is certainly a wonderful protector, particularly as he holds the bottle and comforter so expertly! *g*

Thank you!
It took me a while to hit on this idea, and I had to check with my brother-in-law whether it was acceptable. I'm glad it was!

I didn't know it was obligatory! I showed the picture to my brother-in-law for his approval and he didn't mention it. After your remark, I asked him about the rat, and he said, "oh yes, actually it should be there".
*headdesk*
He doesn't seem too bothered by the omission though...
