Nonono - he isn't supposed to be sixteen! It's his adult self revisiting the scene of his humiliation. He can't let go of the past. But thanks for 'liking it anyway'

This picture was a commission, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. I have an earlier version with grey watercolour too, but Grainne (who commissioned it) specifically requested b/w, and most people I consulted seem to like this one better.
I'm glad you like his expression; it took me quite some time to figure out the right one
