First of all, I had a hard time deciding whether or not I wanted to submit this since this piece is highly influenced by 's piece: [link]So if you look at this, please look at her work as well. I wanted to do something similar, with a similar message, so I used her piece as a reference, just did it a little bit differently.

Just because transgendered/transsexual people are different from everyone else doesn't mean that they aren't still people. That is the basic message I want to convey with this piece. This is why I submitted it, because the general message behind it is a bit different from Chrissie Cool's piece.
So please, enjoy it. And next time someone is different then you, no matter in what shape or form, don't think badly of them. Because everyone is different, but that doesn't make them any less human than anyone else.

I see the man arms but how does this scream "transgender"? She looks shameful and the man image is domineering yet restrained. I would first assume she is a broken wing, abused or a drug addict. Is this a guy in a girls body or vice versa? Very grey image interpeted many ways for me. Of course schizophrenia helps me think differently.

Basically, it is a man trapped in a woman's body. Of course she looks a bit shamed, because it's not really an accepted idea to be a transgendered person.
