OMG WAS THIS ONE FRUSTRATING. And the details are gone again.... but still - FULL VIEW IS RECOMENDEDI've spent way too much time on things that don't matter in a smaller picture lol
Skipped food and sleep...Finally done. lol
I don't know how i feel about this one. I wanted to do something inspired by Ergo Proxy and it's concept, but with my twist on it...and to try a bit of that cinematic feel again, but, not sure if it comes of as that. The idea was cool, though, in theory....
Stock photos + painting (yes, that includes spiky buildings, cables and the hovering shapes).
I really hope it looks decent....

You know, i really appreciate your opinion on the colours. I couldn't decide between the less saturated stuff and the "in-your-face" saturation, as well as the rest, especially with the colours. Might actually switch it back to that instead. lol Thanks Erik!

I don't even know tbh, it took a while, cuz i was trying and looking what works and what not and scraping some of the ideas.

Gabi!! OMG! How you even seen this in your imagination is beyond my every cell of wanting to create things. I can kind of see part of the reference you're talking about with Ergo Proxy. BUT, to me in it's own right is a character of its own beauty. How you turned those shapes into wing is brilliant. Your thought process always intrigues me when you post something. I mean look at the depth, the motion you've placed to build a story which I could see a trailer in my mind just looking at this creation. The cinematic look that you questioned, in my opinion came through. Thank you kindly for sharing your art still for us to see. Amazing work!!

LOL I just throw things together and see what happens. I never have a final image in my head before i am actually done.
The Ergo Proxy series is sort of just the inspiration. More so the idea inspiration. It's my own Proxy character of course.
Funny thing is, that the more i look at it the less i like the way it looks but i'm not touching it anymore. i think i just stared at this piece for too long already so it's starting to have that opposite effect.
I'm glad you see at least something i was aiming for in this. One person is enough, haha.
