NEXT PAGE ---> silent-neutral.deviantart.com/…EDIT 2015 So I finally decided to tone this page and fix up the speech text since I didn't even type it in LOL. And I guess the only reason why I left it the way it was for so long is because I was too lazy just felt like it now, since I recently updated this comic with page 9 a few days ago.
drawing rubble/debris/wreckage is hard to get it to look...like destruction. i used pics of uhm...tornados and cyclones to get good examples. but...nothing like the scenes from dmc3. yeah i tried looking that up too....but only found low quality and small screenshots from Devil's Lair. oh well...kinda helped i guess. credit to them for the screenshots then C:
and ooooh, X's has encountered Hell Vanguard???? lol.
(i also referenced that pic...it is its model from the actual game)

I didn't notice before but in the pannel with the Hellvanguard...it has a glowy eye. I couldn't help but think: "...Looking at joo...." XD

lol~! yeah, the actual sprites of the vanguards have a glowy eye, like in the cutscene where Vergil chops it, if i rem correctly <___< >___>.... ahh go play it yourself!

Okay, seriously. your ink skills are very much pro. o______o look at the details of the ruin... how do you do that? + The splatter effect on the hell vanguard's right eye?

oh, and the debris and stuff, i got some help from the DCM3 manga....but then i changed it a bit to look different. i used real pics of ghetto looking alleyways and stuff too xD.
cross hatching was used on the Hellguard's eye. most of it's rags are cross hatched too, i think i scanned it darker than it was, that's why you can't really see them....

lol Chayamachi uses alot of detail himself. i love his architecture...so much friggin detaillll.....;__________; i wanna draw like that. his simple drawings are nice too and effective when fitting for a specific moment etc, but sometimes, i notice he doesn't try hard enough when he draws Dante's face or w/e weirdly...like in some close ups...with alice when she gets older for example. but code 2 i recon he improves that
