a year and 4 months later...lolll...
To be painfully honest, I'm kinda over DMC...and in saying that, hopefully it will jynx what I just said x'D
I blame NT and their pointless reboot for ruining it. And let's not forget about dmc4, which I only touched once. er herm, just my personal opinion.
But...because it's a crossover, it still makes it interesting to me...I have too many comics to finish though, I know D:
There's too much referencing going on with this, I really feel like copy pasting bikes and screenshots and stuff XD! but that's not very professional...except the part where I try to draw it freehand and it looks shit anyway lol, hence the Divinity statue as an example here....
Hopefully, you know what part of the game this scene is. It would make me happy if you knew, then I feel I got something right =______=;;;

I liked DMC 4 well enough, but I do have some problems with it. Like how they didn't answer any questions, but instead created more. I blame the...producer, I think he is? He was starting to go crazy during DMC 4...and then just went NUTS during Bayonetta. That's my oppinion anyway. XD

I liked Bayonetta 10 times more than DMC4...I could accept it was already crazy and what-not xD it was all just fun and games, even though it was similar to dmc4, I think Bayo improved it

I watched the beginning cutscene of Bayonetta...I was so dissapoint, son. I donno, I just never liked the concept to begin with and the first cutscene kinda drew my dislike home. I didn't want to listen to some stereotypical, low-rank mook rant about how it was his birthday for four minutes...So to change my disappoint into

Sure she's strong but the way she acts somehow offends me...even tho I'm a perv...tho I agree about there not being enough strong women in games. The ones considered "strong" are often just bitchy (like that one chick from Persona 3). And not in a good way (like Ada).
I like both games, though they are essentially the same. Somehow I ended up being more facinated with one of the villians of InFAMOUS than the main character. And don't even get me started on his girlfriend.
No, never! I'm always interested in good crossovers. You, unlike so many others, are doin' it right. People need to start understanding that you don't need to cross over six different series at one time to make a crossover interesting. That just confuses the audience, and stresses the artist/author, because there are too many things going on at once. Two or three series at a time is fine, because usually the drama of two different universes and their rules colliding is interesting enough! And enough with these conflicting series' already! Spongbob does not to be crossed over with Gundam Wing, H.P. Lovecraft, and Pheonix Wright! /endrant.

Urgh, it was something like that. Now that I think back, it may have been Bioshock-the GW PW thing may have been a completely different flavor of mindf**k- which would have made slightly more sense as they all have the ocean in common, but still...One does not mix idiocy with pure awesomeness. I've seen some pretty bad ones in my (short)time. And no one ever writes the ones I would think as natural crossover fodder. Like Fatal Frame and Ghostbusters (Both deal with ghosts). Or Supernatural and Devil May Cry (Both deal with demons). Silent Hill and...well, just about anything (Because SH is just that awesome).
I'm with you there. I'm ashamed to admit that I was once among the ranks of the OC/Cannon shippers...but I've grown since then and now go "Ew." at the sight. Mostly cuz the "OCs" are just shameless mary sue, self-inserts. (I have only one exception to this rule: an artist here on devART named Sarah, and that's because somehow her crush is sweet instead of annoying to me.)

I've seen a lot of DMC/SP and of course, DMC/RE, DMC/SH. SH/RE is another popular one too, which I can accept, as these two horror games have a lot in common, almost like rivals! xD

That's mainly the reason why I detest it...the OC is almost always a self-insert/mary sue. I've seen HEAPS of examples of this, which just makes me not tolerate it anymore. once or twice is normal, but when people ship it...like it's official...then it becomes annoying. I avoid it all the same, of course, but you can't avoid everything. So when I see it, I just inwardly rage and quickly move on to save my sanity xD
I'm sure there are some exceptions though, I've yet to find any that I can stomach, and not just because they are people I know.
It's just seriously annoying when people start claiming a character that they are his/hers. Kinda like some of the Sasuke fantards out there.

I've really only seen two DMC/SP, but perhaps I wasn't looking hard enough? XD Yes RE and SH have been crossed together alot, but never with PLOTS that are interesting, at least for me. That's another problem with bad crossovers. Their authors tendto think that the idea of the crossover alone should be enough to carry an ENTIRE fic. It doesn't. You need a reason why the two universes have collided, and a little something extra after that. I actually had it in my head a bit ago to write a Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni/Silent Hill crossover, and I think my plot idea was pretty decent...but it just never happened.
I do hate that. "S/He's mine"... They're fictional so can't we share our videogame/anime/tv show/book crushes? They'll never really come to fruitition anyway... I once met someone at my school who claimed all three Sparda boys as her "husbands". I cannot tell you how much self restraint I had to use...

Oh, really? I saw a lot of fics, but never had the time to sit and read, just bits. Yes, that's true...they think that the stories of both series can just carry the rest itself....but there needs to be some sort of reason why they collided in the first place, so that it makes sense that the fandoms should cross.

I think, no matter what people come up with, there will always be someone who sees it your way and enjoys it, as well as there being those who don't.
If you liked it, then write it to find those that can share your interest, or continue it because it makes you happy

Artworks good, it's just the perspective seems a bit off compared to where X is standing and where lion-headed lady's head is at. Also seems like there's quite a bit of white space in the bgs. You could probably get away with just adding a few screen tones to the bgs.

Well, I liked DMC4, but yeah. I saw the trailer for DMC5 and a part of my soul just..... died...... Like "Albert Wesker just put his hand through my chest" kinda died. So, I know how you feel. It's funny that I looked at this, because I was just playing Marvel vs. Capcom 3, practicing against my friend and he had Zero on his team. Anyway, great artwork as usual!

4 made me upset many times, so playing it didn't let me enjoy it as I could have D: reboot just hit rock bottom for me, at least visually; maybe the game-play will change too? The first 3 titles will always be the heart and soul for the series...

Actually, as much as the thought of DmC Devil May Cry ( origin/reboot/whateverthefuck ) eats my
heart and soul away, I haven't completely dismissed it yet. The company behind the development
made Heavenly Swords, which is one of my favorite new-gen/PS3 game, so I still hold some hope.
And they, I am the guy that actually ENJOYED DMC2, even if it's considered the lesser/worst entery
in the series.
It just had so much content, flippin' awesome boss battles a plenty and whatnot else to love! Even cameos!

I just feel that NT don't have enough experience to take on something so big like DMC. And due to this...I'd say that's why DMC looks so different, among other things such as Capcom telling them to step out of the box. I'd prolly like it if it wasn't titled DMC, lol.
I don't understand why people hate DMC2 so much D: I thought all those acrobatic maneuvers were fun!! It wasn't as astounding as 1, and it lacked a real plot...let alone ending, but it was still fun and it featured Diesel! lol. Also, it kinda annoys me why everyone hates Lucia @__@;;
DMC2 wasn't perfect and I couldn't figure out why I regained full health after my healthbar was completely depleted, but at least Dante was still cool xD

Yeah I agree, DMC2 was very fun, and I liked Lucia too.
I mean, while the separate stories weren't that lengthy on their own, when combined
together, they make on hell of a game. And the bosses were freaking awesome/cool
as hell! I mean, one's a freaking skyscraper(!), how insane is not that!? And the last
(and second last) boss in Dante's part was really neat, I think.
I mean, for me, DMC is a fun, story-driven hack n slash adventure/horror type of game,
and while DMC2 wasn't as story-driven as the before and it's following installment, it still
got the hack n slash part right, and it was all around fun as hell. <3
