Description
Alone is where I'll wait, and alone is where I'll be
Waiting for you
by the shore of a sea...
that thrashes, and crashes, and sings to me
Sings of things forgotten
and things yet to be
'til past and future intertwine
to embrase this dream -- this reality
A song for love
and a song for pain
A song of loss
and one for gain
A song for hope
and a song for joy
A song of dreams
of death,
... of many things
A song for you,
and a song for me --
Two lost souls...
...dancing with eternity
----------------------------------
Well, this one took a little longer than I was planning on spending on it. But it's finally done
The poem was inspired by the piece... not the other way around.
Oil on canvas 48x36"
-------------------
Wow... Wasn't expecting a DD for it. Thanks though, and thankyou to everyone who has looked/faved/commented on it. It is very much appreciated
I noticed some people asked about prints. They will be available soon, check back in a day or two

Oh, this is absolutely beautiful. I adore the poem because it reminds me kind of when I was little and I'd think of my friends moving away, except I wasn't as skilled with words.
The picture is just beautiful. *__* It has that look, you know? The one that comes by every like two billion pieces of art. It makes me think of things I'd never really thought of before. Gorgeous.

What a fantastic piece of work. The orginality and imagination in it is priceless. I love what you wrote to go with it. Wish I had the cash to buy a huge poster of it, I would hang it on my wall. Amazing work, really.

Spyro the Dragon? This image reminds me of the beautiful pastel skies in the game and the cool"portals" that you can see the other skies through.

I want this one. I can imagine this one on my front entrance wall next to the stairs that spiral upwards.
Those stairs lead to a Dr. Suess looking room, but its not. Dr.S It's one of my creation.
