Oil on canvas, 24x40"DD! Thanks so much!
...now I wish I had taken the time to get a better photograph of this one... and fix some of the things about it that still bother me... bah. oh well. Perhaps later.

I uploaded what I think is a better photo of the painting. The colors and contrast are a slightly closer match, and the image is certainly more in focus.

i was thinking something cliche', like a light bulb; just so that it was more apparent and could easily tie to the title, although making a light bulb would be difficult i think it would have been worth it.

i actually never said i wanted it spewing light bulbs; i just think that the message is unclear the way it is;
as a matter of fact i didn't even want to give him the idea, because it is his piece I wanted to leave it to him to create what is necessary for the clarity of the message, and you should have kept in mind that what i said was merely a suggestion and not necessarily what should have been done. I am a firm believer that the work is the artists and no one else's.
Also, you are quoting what another artist said about his work, not what HE said about it.
I simply wanted to allow him to have a glimpse of an idea so that he could have made it more clear, and as for your use of '

Get's kind'a disturbed over this for some reason... probably because of the metaphor I see in the picture is so true to me and the picture just makes it look so straight forward-ish in a way...
