Description
Here is a piece of the southwestern region of the Amn map that I use for reference in my Baldur's Gate 2 Shadows of Amn fan fiction, just to show you guys how the official map of Amn and its locations are placed differently from the in-game map and familiar locations you might see in this picture I posted here, like Trademeet and the Umar Hills. Unlike the game, Trademeet is too far away from Athkatla to travel to on foot, unlike the game, where it takes 1 day and 8 hours to get from Athkatla to Trademeet, while based on this source book, getting to Trademeet from Athkatla on foot would really take a week and 11 hours, maybe more than that, depending on how long you rest in between your travel to your destination. And the Umar Hills is the eastern part of the Small Teeth Mountains, unlike in the game where it is placed north, fairly close to the Cloud Peak Mountains and where Crimmor would be.Related content

Never knocked your sources or accuracy of your locations.
Just a few grammatical errors.
The biggest for me being the "tense" in which the stories took/are taking place.
Other than that, you're a genius.

Yeah, are you abandoning the BG work?
Looks like you might be beginning a SWOR series.
Let me be first to say, please don't! lol
You're in the best fantasy universe now.
SW is a massive downgrade.

No, I'm just taking a break. I'm trying to decide if I want to slow down on BG and catch up on the Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition fan fiction. Besides, I want to slow down a bit with the BG series because Siege Of Dragonspear is coming soon, and when it comes out, I'll postpone my Shadows of Amn fan fiction until I'm done with Siege Of Dragonspear since it takes place in between the first BG game and SoA.

Glad to hear it. I'll be reading them as always. I love to read other peoples work (especially DnDFF) even if I don't get around to fav-ing them that often, I'm too hung up most of the time on little things in text that drive me to scorn even my own writing. I have re-checked my stories a hundred times correcting errors but never seem to run out of them with every fresh read!
lol
Maybe you have read this, but if not, you might like my little short about a rag-tag clan seeking a new home in Taan's feral northwestern frontier.

I have fun with it. I set it a few years after the events in the, R. A. Salvatore, series with, Drizzt Du' Urden. My story is based on change in the aftermath of, Wulfgar, son of Beornegar's, exploits on the Dale. Some readers might say I deviated from the vision of Uthgardt and Reghedman culture by making them break with tradition.
To that I say, Drizzt, was the first to break with it and that made, Salvatore, a household name. Why is he special?
This is Deviantart, is it not?

I'm still on my break, but I'll get to it on the new year starting with the third chapter of my Icewind Dale fan fiction!
