I don't normally post lyrics to songs in my descriptons, but I was listening pretty relentlessly to this song while I was painting this, and they fit perfectly, so.
Photoshop 7, Wacom Intuos2; and thanks to the helpful people giving me critiques on ~silent-progress .
Edit: Okay, so I ran this through the gauntlet over at the Epilogue forums and got a lot of good feedback on it, and now I'm not happy with the version I had uploaded here, lol. So, here. Fixed.

Composition and colors are well chosen. The black point of thid, IMO, is anatomy. Girl's body looks strange under the chest.

This is beautiful. I like the way the greyscale background brings out the aura of the wings. I've always liked the song too and it fits well here.

This looks excellent. It's almost like that painting Michellangelo put on the Sistine chapel... Well, that's what it reminds me of anyway.

I really like how you did the light and darks on the rocks. they're very realistic and I love how the rain drops on there sort of blend but still stand out. the sky (clouds in partic) is also very well done, great depth of field. The skin tones are really nice, especially the purple/grey one. the wings are well done, in fact, quite gorgeous. the rain is an awesome touch, one thats hard to pull off at that. nice work. if I were to crit something (which you may or may not like done to your work, I have no idea..) then I would say the shadows on the muscles are quite dark and sort of greyish, and make the bodies look a little less... svelte and angelic. the anatomy is wonderful too. I just noticed that.

I love the opposing view on it, and yet the similarities... they're right there in your face.
Oh this had to have taken forever. My skills with a wacom are.. well.. quite lacking lol so when i see a piece like this that is done so beautifully, it really pushes me to become better, with whatever I pick up.

I really like this. I'd +Fav it, but I go to a christian school, and my Art teacher has my account name, and I don't think he'd exactly be happy with the nudity... It's really good though. (the painting, not the nudity :-p)

i'm not the best painter myself and i do these kinda mistake too.. for me, the picture doesnt really look 'unified' .. also the anatomy could use some work, eg the leg on the left angel, the back, neck and face on the right one
and more contrast would be good so that they really stand out from the background eg, right now theyre a bit melting into the grey
though i love how you drew the wings and the rain

I like the contrast between the foreground and the background. The clouds and rain (kinda depressing looking) contrasting with the two angels (support and friendship). At least that's what I got out of this picture.
