Description
This is a LARP weapon (Germany), built for this Hobby alone.It's core is a glassfibre staff, ranging approx. 2m.
The blades have been cut from a special foam, using a 3-pieces technique for perfect hold.
To prevent that the core staff rips through the fabric. it's been strengthened with a special fibre mesh.
Last but not least, the decoration and latex colors have been adjusted to fit a typically elven "magical" weapon.
The metal color resembles something like adamantium, mithril, crystal...whichever you like to think of.

Out of curiosity, how does it handle in a fight? I am trained in the use of longsword (German style), so im curious in what advantages and disadvantages it would have.

I know the reply comes very late (not been very active in the art / graphics area since a while here) but to answer you question:
It's a LARP weapon, so it handles differently from a real weapon. Even though it's quite difficult as it combines blades with a staff in the middle. I'd look into martial arts to find a suitable explanation before I say something wrong
