Description As requested

Yes, I know that there are LOTS of other tutorials about that and mine brings nothing new

BUT

I figured that there may be some people who don't use Photoshop or find these too complicated/demanding/whatever and might enjoy a one done by a n00b

I was too lazy to pick up a dictionary, but I hope I didn't end up writing anything inappropriate

---
Yeah, I got my tablet to work again
Now I'm off to finish coloring Carth

I am so glad that you finally did this hair tutorial. Hopefully my hair coloring won't totally suck now. XD

Thanks for putting the time into this! 8D

No problem, I hope it'll be helpful though it'd be much easier to do with a tablet, since that way the strokes can be done way more freely (+ pressure sensitivity)

Darn it woman! After using your tutorial on my work, the hair looks truly awesome, but it makes the job I did colorizing the skin look terrible. Should you ever be inclined to make another tutorial, I vote skin coloring!

Ok, off to make my skin coloring look decent...

Lol! Sorry about that I'm definitely not the mentor-artist kind yet to be creating tutorials, but I guess I could try to make something... Mind that it'd hardly be as effective and helpful as this one, 'cause my skin coloring usually SUCKS

LOL, if your skin coloring sucks then I hate to know what sub level there is that my skills reside on. I am from the school of "slap sh-tuff" together. There is no consistancy in my art style or coloring. The only other skin tutorial that I have is 8 screens long and it NEVER turns out the way the instruction says. Oh well, I'll muddle through somehow in the meantime! At least their hair is gorgeous darling!

You're from that school too? Sisfist!
Haha! Okay, I'll try to put something short and VERY simple together, maybe it will prove useful as well XD Or maybe you'd be interested in watching how I color skin on a future LiveStream session, 'cause I've been meaning to make one for a while now.

Return sisfist! I love LS sessions! I am so there! A short and sweet skin coloring tutorial=awesome! I truly appreciate the help because saying I suck at coloring is a gross understatement.

Great, just let me know what day and time would suit you! And don't mention it, as everyone I like being helpful And don't be so hard on yourself 'cause that obviously isn't true!

Oh my!!! I am on U.S. central time zone so I don't know which zone you are in, but I can make sure to work it out! This would be such a HUGE help and I'd be eternally grateful!

Pfffft. I am hard on myself because I obsess over the things I have yet to learn. I need to pay attention better to what I do rather than throwing stuff willy nilly together since it is impossible to repeat. That and I have yet to find a style for myself other than "fanart". Is fanart a style? XD I appreciate the help and any other useful tips, critiques or advice you are willing to share.

Central Europe Time

There's no need to force yourself to "establish" one, because the fact that your works differ from each other imo is a good thing. Whichever way you find fun to draw - that is your style. It will keep changing and evolving, it's only natural
I'm not good at giving advice, but if you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability

I don't care as much about style right now as much as I do consistency.

When I am finished with my current piece, I'll link it to you and see if you could give me a critique on it if that is ok with you. I have problems with dynamic poses, people, facial expressions and perspective. Well, the list is longer than that, but they are probably the highest things on my list to conquer. Any insight is helpful!

No matter how cliche it sounds that will come with practice and time as well

Sure that's okay

Oh, it is EXTREMELY helpful! And super easy to do which was why I chose to use it as my coloring method on something I am working on. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this!
