Description
A black Shire horse. When I'll have a lot of money, I'll have a Shire.
My very first drawing with oil pastel - all right, not the very first: when I was a little child, I experimented with pastel. But this is the first in the last 13 years.
I've drawn it in about 30 minutes. Maybe I'll try it someday with pencil.

I think this is an amazing sketch. Full of powerful gracefulness. I am the secretary of our local agricultural show which has a long history with shire horses and I would love to put this sketch on the front of our schedule for the horse classes and include it in our advertisments/posters. i love shires.. when i want my own horse, i want a huge huge shire, all black. no white socks. if she has white socks.. ill dye them black ^^ lol.. nah, that'd be sad alltho i don't think the horse would mind. nyway lovely art ^^

my horse i ride every week at the stables
is like.. black , but with pieces of dark brown
with a red glow on the dark brown parts.
i'll post a pic some day xD.
