Description
This is my submission for 's contest. This is his OC Keyana, a terrorist/thief in the X-comicz universe. She is one cool cat, I loved drawing her.I have depicted her hunting down a poor victim inside an old train station.
I drew her traditionally, scanned her in and colored the whole thing digitally. I did have to change the design of some things a bit because I couldn't see them in detail in the refs provided, I hope they are not too different to be acceptable.

Thanks. I must admit I find it easier with darker skin tones. They can take a lot more highlighting and that helps.

My only crit would be her face...it's too serene, comtemplative... she doesn't look like a terrorist.

I love the work. But I am having a hard time getting the feel of the pose you put her in. You claim she's hunting down someone, which is cool. However, the tracks in the background look as if she would get hit by a train if one were to come her way. Maybe you meant it to look like she is higher up and trains would run under her. I think it would have looked better had you just put her jumping across the tracks while chasing someone. How hard would it be to do that just for me?

My idea is that the corridor she is in leads directly to the train platform and she is nearly there. That's why I made her level to the tracks. She is trying to stop someone from getting on a train. Big idea,I know, perhaps not best executed. But this was a character concept and I put more work on the background than I put on the character. I originally made the BG (the one visible from the window) to put her in jumping across the tracks like you said. But it didn't work. She just didn't look right in the environment. I might try doing that in future just for you but right now I kinda need a break from this work because I spent too much time on it.

Well I got it and I can see the size issues. You didn't have to put a hurry on it. If taking your time could have made it look better that would have been cool.
You also have to think about Keyana's powers. With the ability to slow down things around her you might be able to add an effect as if she were slowing the train. But I dunno. I can post this in my gallery and give you credit if you like?
