Lavender Town? You'd best take Rock Tunnel, bitch.It's been awhile since I've drawn a full picture with a background and everything. It has some flaws, but over all I'm pretty happy with this.
I just need to learn how to draw water.

If you must call it a flaw, the shadows for the fence are off. However, that's easily explained by a separate light source.

This is so amazingly charming... I was looking up images for Lavender Town and most are so dark and depressing. (Not that that's necessarily a bad thing... or else I wouldn't be looking them up.)
But this is so fresh and bright... while also being the true story of my life. (Seriously. Playing PokΓ©mon R/B/Y. SNORLAX! WHY FOR YOU BLOCK MY ROAD?!)

this happens to me all the time. my brother is incredibly fat, and you can't walk around the bastard. you have to play music to get him up. he only sleeps in areas where you can't walk around him, such as the stairs, and I have to give him credit for where he can obtain rem at. next tme he does it, I'm putting on ear plugs and playing Lady gaga's bad romance

I can't help but wonder what Red is thinking when he encounters these. 'Why is this Pokemon sleeping in the middle of the road? Why hasn't anyone else complained about it? Can't I just catch it while it's asleep?'

I always wondered what the point of waking it up was if you were just going to put it to sleep to catch it. Although if I were Red I would be thinking "I wonder if it's so deep asleep that I could climb over it..."

I always caught both when I was younger. I started playing FR/LG on the verge of the beginning of Generation IV, and I thought that if I caught the female and male one I could somehow get a Munchlax... XD

This was the only good part of the entire route between Lavender Town -> Fuchsia City.

I must agree. The rest of the route was a hellbed of trainer after trainer after fucking trainer. Which means tons of time wasted biking back to Vermillion City to heal to avoid wasting items that you'll never use anyway.

Actually, to be honest, that is the sole reason I say R/B/Y/LG/FR are the second worst Pokemon games, because the entire game was basically a battle every other step, rather than having a puzzle or exploring, it was just constant trainer battles.
I remember one route that was probably at max 30x30 spaces. And there was a whole line of
Now I think D/P/P are the worst, mainly because of the snail-speed battles and overall not-very-interesting region.

They also didn't give you much to do after the game was complete. For nostalgia's sake they're wonderful, but that's pretty much it. Not quite as deserving of a remake as GS or any of the other games.
The one up on the way to Bill's house? That was horrid. Especially with low leveled Pokemon. At least the rival battle was at the beginning...
D/P/P also had the worst Pokemon designs in my opinion. Just...ugh. I like more Gen V Pokemon than I do Gen IV. Even Gen III is starting to fall below some of V's designs I think... Hoenn was my favorite region, though. That's the only reason I'm hoping for remakes of R/S/E.

I like certain aspects of Isshu more than Hoenn. Especially that you can walk pretty much anywhere without having to go through grass.
Although to be honest if they implement the season thing into the Gen III remakes that will make my life. Foretree City in 3D is a plus too.

The 3D was barely noticeable. I can see it, but it's really not like seeing an animated movie (A.K.A How to Train Your Dragon (In 3D( Which was actually really really good).
At least its not like the crappy 2D paper cutout 3D (A.K.A Avatar).

I wish I had Gale of Darkness. Because my Gamecube was a gift (8th grade graduation gift about 4 years ago)... a silver Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness Edition Gamecube, but the person who had it sold the game.

Gale of Darkness was amazing. Colosseum was pretty good too, but I never actually finished it XD; D: It's too bad that they sold it. I didn't even know there WAS a special edition gamecube for it.
