Just playing around with different coloring/shading styles in photoshop with a little sketch I did in my notes ^__^ I tried shading in greyscale, then overlaying color on top of that. Not sure it made much of a difference.Ah well. *shrug*
Yeah, Kirk got himself beat up again and Spock has to help him hobble away so they can get back to the Enterprise where Bones will grump while pretending he's not worrying over the idiot like a mother hen and Spock can pretend he's not worrying because obviously Vulcans don't have emotions, but everyone knows that that's a big fat wad of lies, especially if Kirk's involved. Yep........that was a huge sentence. Was it even gramatically correct?

I bet Spock is thinking "does he ever use his brain?" and Kirk is all thinking "damn that was awesome" lol James t. Kirk never uses logic that's why he has Spock as a friend but of course sometimes he doesn't listen to Spock...but Spock and Bones are always there to dig him out of the hole he buried himself in

I love their expressions, and I rather like the colors. I've never been able to master the art of greyscale coloring and then overlaying colors, so I have no real way to judge, but

Aw I love it. How Kirk is all 'I'm smiling and stuff. I'm fine. honestly.' and Spock's slight eyebrow furrow conveys all his worry. Mmhmm. And the colour looks fine to me. I don't know how reliable my judgement is, still love it though.

Oh, I keep just about everything I draw. At the end of every school year 7th through 12th grade I would compile everything I drew that year. I LOVE doing those stupid binders and as I improved my drawing the more stuff I had to try and stuff in the those things. XD They're so much fun, but looking back at my drawings from junior high make me cringe, literally. I don't know how I thought I was good. XD

Yeah I have a couple of binders like that full of all my old stuff from highschool. And it's the same kinda thing too for me too, the further back I look the worse it gets. I don't know how I thought I was good either. Even last year I stunk and in one year i've improved more then I did in the previous years.
