Use onion skinning in Flash, I believe the newer versions still have it. (They should!) I think the arms are a bit too far away from the body and move like she's trying to punch something, they're usually curled up more. See videos in slow mo for reference (if any?)

haha, I've been reading ref books! And this super awesome animation book by Brad Bird (foreward by Jon Lancaster!) I WANT TO BUY THIS BOOK!
I actually tried to curl the forearm more, but then photoshop crashed on me a gazillion times so I gave up

Hmmm I haven't played around with PS' animation features much. I've tried to make some animated GIFs but they felt clunky. Clunkier than Flash, at east. You can use a really thin brush to get a painterly feel too, I've seen people do that.
You can just get a better computer with a huge RAM.

And Gifs are def clunkier >.< Will just explore further bah. There is this free tool called 'Pencil' but I still haven't figured it out yet.. Am hoping to create a two minute short clip before I graduate!

I think the head moves a bit too much, and the legs stretch a bit too far at one bit, so it looks like leaping

Thank you! Yeah, I was thinking of reducing the head movement and the legs ^^
I used Photoshop CS5, although Flash is also good. Photoshop isn't built for animation so it kept crashing whilst doing.
