My half of a trade with , who kicks major ass.This was a lot of fun to do, and I really liked the idea of glowing butterflies I saw on one of their deviations, so. Viola, excuse to draw a glowww.

That's a badass costume this guy is wearing. That helmet is love. I think that background is also the most perfect thing you could have come up with for this. Seriously - it's darkness and rust and color all rolled up into one. The hard-edged faerie dust left behind by the butterfly seems to capitalize on the metalic theme that is represented more prominently by the background, scythe, and his helmet.

I'm going to have to say that I am HUGELY a fan of your lines. They're so bold and strong and have such an powerful effect with the style of art that you produce. The hands! Geez. The hands. They look so articulated and kind of gnarled and haunting! Your hands always look so fantastic. Those combined with your pretty artwork and lines always have me immersed in every image you do.

Thank you so much! Usually, for backrounds, I take a single color base that will fit with the color scheme I have in mind, and then take several different textures and layer them onto each other [in this case, wood and concrete]. Then I'll play with the layer settings and hues to get different looks and colors. That was kind of vague, but it's what I usually do in a nutshell!

The designs of the weapon are really kick ass and very proportioned/angled. How did you get the straight lines and angles of it down so it all seemed to match up the way it did?
I like the clothing idea and how you drew it. I have always been a fan of odd clothing, and the one-sleeved overshirt thing is one of my favourites.
All in all, it looks really sick. Another fine peice of art ^.^

That is so FREAKING AWESOME!!! Absolutely loving the butterfly on the scythe and the perspective. The helmet is spot on and looks phenomenal, and those abs. OH THE ABS. First phrase that came out of me mouth when I saw this; "LINK LOOKS FUCKING HAWT!!!"

I saw the thumbnail for this and got so excited because i KNEW it was gonna be pretty. ...but i kind of get excited every time i see a cryth thumbnail actually, so forget that. but. i have good reason to get excited! this is so so so kickass. i love that pose. And the angle of the head, augh man. that angle's so hard to draw, but you pulled it off reeeeal nicelike. <3 what i love most about this [i...typed "shit" completely accidentally at first] is the pelvic/hip/abdomen area. beautiful. i want to touch it. that butterfly is so cute, too, and swirly and elegant!
