I don't even KNOW what time of day it's meant to be in this. Make it up. I guess it makes more sense to say afternoon since I don't know why they'd be flying kites at the break of dawn lolol. Even though it's probably not very unusual if they happen to be early-wakers. And Layton wouldn't be all "ZZZZ" while drinking tea if it was morning, right? D:IDK.
There should be more sense of movement in this picture since there's a strong wind. But I only realise this now. Way to go, Amanda.
Oh yeah and this is a 3 month late birthday present for my little sister ahaha.

We are both so gay for the Professor Layton games, I swear to god. She doesn't have a deviantART account so I can't link her, sadly.
You know in the original sketch for this picture, I had Layton watching Luke and Flora flying their kites, but he was standing up and watching from behind a tree. I didn't go with that design because he looked like a paedophile. THE END.

Those clouds look so fluffy and appealing.I kind of want to eat them like marshmallows, haha.
This is lovely! The colors are beautiful and the atmosphere of the whole thing is just...calm and happy. I feel like looking at it I can almost hear the sound of the leaves rustling in the trees and the birds in the corner's chirps getting farther and farther away. Really great job!
